Princeton Christmas Parade Moved To Friday Due To Inclement Weather

Due to the forecast of rain and possible thunderstorms, the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Princeton Christmas parade, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Friday evening. The parade’s grand marshals were also announced by the Chamber.

Chamber President Heather Riley explained that while the ‘Merry Melodies of Christmas Parade’ has been rescheduled, the start time remains unchanged.

click to download audioIn addition, Riley announced that the Chamber board has selected three World War II veterans residing in Caldwell County as the grand marshals for the Christmas parade.

click to download audioAs per Riley, the line-up for the parade will commence at 4:00 on Friday afternoon.

click to download audioThe pre-parade activities that were originally planned for Saturday have also been rescheduled to Friday afternoon.
