UPDATE: Kentucky State Police are reporting that Jodie Crowley has been apprehended and lodged in Webster County Detention Center.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Kentucky State Police are looking for one of two inmates who escaped from the Webster County Detention Center Sunday morning.

Spokesman Trooper Ridge Porter says Post 2 in Madisonville received a call from the jail around 6:20 AM regarding two escaped inmates — 48-year old Jodie Crowley of Sebree and 44-year old Tony Elders of Morganfield — who walked away from the jail on Stegall Street.

According to Trooper Porter, Elders was arrested shortly after escaping and charged with second-degree escape. He was lodged in the Webster County Jail. However, Crowley is still on the run.

Crowley is described as 5’10”, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair. Police say he was last seen wearing an orange coat, blue jeans and a black toboggan. Crowley reportedly has multiple tattoos on his arms, legs, chest, back and neck, with a significant identifier of “TINA” tattooed on the right side of his neck.

Anyone with information regarding Crowley’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 2 at (270) 675-3313. Citizens may also report tips confidentially through the KSP website.
