Princeton Man Charged With Firing A Shot During Hopkinsville Gas Station Fight

A Princeton man has been charged after a fight between him and another man at a gas station on Glass Avenue in Hopkinsville led to a shot being fired Thursday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to investigate a report of shots fired in the parking lot and found that

34-year-old Lametre Riley and another man had gotten into a fight, at which time Riley fired a shot and hit the other man’s truck.

An ambulance was called to check on the man who had been assaulted but he refused medical attention.

Riley was arrested and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree assault, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
