Adrianne Owen Kennedy, age 83, of Kuttawa, passed away January 6, 2024, at Calvert City Health and Rehab.
Adrianne was born February 19, 1940, to the late Ollie Adrian Owen and Sadie Belle Sizemore Owen. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served as the pianist for many years. Adrianne enjoyed growing flowers and watching birds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen (Daren) Pahl of Gilbertsville, KY, Laura (Michael) Jennings of Lebanon, TN; one son, Wade (Cindy) Kennedy of Kuttawa; two sisters, Nancy Hutchens of Charlotte, NC, Joy White of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Joe (Karen) Owen of Calvert City; sister-in-laws, Kathryn Fuqua of Oviedo, FL and Katrina Kennedy of Eddyville; nine grandchildren, Kendra Kennedy, Clay Kennedy, Kailey Kennedy, Taylor Cruce, Houston (Ashley) Cruce, Caleb Pahl, Trace Pahl, Mattie Jennings and Garrett Jennings; three great-grandchildren, Kinlee Kingston, Kennedy Estes and Maggie Cruce; several precious nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Dale Kennedy; and sister, Judy Morris.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2024, at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2024, at Lakeland Funeral Home with Rev. John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.
