A report of an unconscious female in a vehicle in Princeton led to the arrest of a Cadiz woman on multiple charges Friday morning.
Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to the call on Cadiz Street shortly after 9 am and made contact with 39-year old Brandi Kougher, who was unconscious with the vehicle running while in drive and her foot on the brake.
Caldwell County EMS responded and transported Kougher to the Caldwell County hospital.
According to police, an investigation determined that Kougher had controlled substances and was under the influence of those substances when she was found.
After she was cleared from the hospital, Kougher was arrested and charged with DUI 1st offense, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in proper container, canceled registration plates, and no insurance 2nd offense. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
