Despite the efforts of road crews, conditions did not improve much in Caldwell or Lyon counties today due to an overcast sky and bitterly cold temperatures.
Princeton Public Works Director David Sullenger says city streets are mostly snow-covered with some refreezing occurring in spots.
Caldwell County Road Department Supervisor David Waldrum says the weather conditions have hampered snow removal from the county’s roads.
In Lyon County, Sheriff Brent White says the road conditions have improved since this morning but they are still slick and hazardous with some refreezing possible this evening.
