Darla Jeanette King, age 72, of Marion, passed away January 13, 2024, at her home.
Darla was born September 14, 1951, to the late Ernest Leroy Rang, Jr. and Mary Louise Patton Rang. She was a member of Eddyville Assembly of God and a leader at Celebrate Recovery. Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren, brothers and sisters in Christ at church and serving the Lord.
She is survived by one sister, Teresa McCleary of Warren, OH; two brothers, Roy Rang of Tallmadge, OH and Eric Rang of Ravenna, OH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Blaine King; two sons, James Lee Norris and Jason Ira Norris; one sister, Enola Graham; one brother, Charles Rang.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 20243, at 1:00 pm at Eddyville Assembly of God Church with Bro. Kevin Alexander officiating. Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
