Caldwell County 4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell shared some exciting news this week about the initiation of a 4-H Horse Club.
According to Jewell, they decided to establish a Horse Club after a discussion with a former 4-H member.
Jewell announced that an informational meeting will be held on Thursday, January 25, at 5:30 pm at the extension office for individuals interested in joining. She also mentioned that the 4-H Horse Club is open to both children who own a horse and those who do not.
She feels it’s important that our kids learn about horses.
Jewell reminds those who want to join 4-H, you must be between 9 and 18 years old.
She expressed her excitement for the 4-H Horse Club, believing it would be a successful and engaging activity to keep them busy.
Those interested in joining the 4-H Horse Club are invited to the informational meeting, which will take place at the Caldwell County Cooperative Extension Office located at 1025 US 62 West in Princeton.
