Rhonda Sullivan, 67, of Princeton

Rhonda Faye Darnell Sullivan, a beacon of loving gentleness and resilience, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024, in her hometown of Princeton, Kentucky. Born on November 23, 1956, Rhonda’s life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit.

The cherished wife of Barry Wendell Sullivan for 39 wonderful years, Rhonda was the heart of her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Amber (L.J.) Granstaff, and her son, Ronnie Frutiger. Her love for her family was immeasurable, particularly for her grandchildren, Lathan Granstaff, Olivia Granstaff, Nicholas Granstaff, Aliyah Marie Frutiger, and Marlee Sosh, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Rhonda’s career as an Aerospace Mechanist for Special Metals was marked by her dedication and skill, earning the respect of her colleagues and the Union. Her involvement in the homemaker club reflected her commitment to her community and her passion for nurturing those around her.

Preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Marie Sigler Darnell, Rhonda’s legacy is one of compassion and fortitude. She faced life’s challenges with the heart of a fighter, yet she approached the world with a gentleness that touched everyone she met.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Harrel Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
