Friday marked the 100th day of school for Caldwell County students and the Primary School celebrated with a chance for students and staff to dress up in recognition of that accomplishment.
First-grade teacher Monica Hunter is in her third year of teaching at the school and explains why they focus on the 100th day.
Hunter noted that it was a volunteer decision to participate in dressing up but it created great memories for those who get involved.
She added they are encouraged to find something they like and add the 100 theme to their appearance for the day.
