On February 6, 2024, Lane Haygan Perkins was stillborn at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital Madisonville in Madisonville, Kentucky. Though his allotted time with us was short, he left a lasting mark on the hearts of his family.
The anticipation of Lane’s precious life will always be remembered by his parents, Caleb Haygan and Sydney Ann Perkins, whose dreams for their son were boundless; paternal grandparents, Justin and Christa Hope Freeman Perkins of Fredonia; maternal grandparents, Suzy and Tony Smith of Dawson Springs, and Earl Menser of Florida; paternal great-grandparents, Jerry and Gale Perkins of Fredonia and Terri Freeman of Dawson Springs; his maternal step-great-grandmother, Linda Menser of Florida; uncles Josh Flinner, Justin Flinner (Candice), Zac Flinner, Tyler Flinner (Kristen), Trace (Carly S.) Menser; and aunts Addi Perkins, Nicki Parker (Adam), and Amy Smith (Jodi), all who were each poised to offer him a life’s worth of joy and love.
Private graveside services were on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Fredonia Cemetery with Bro. Presley Lamm officiating.
