Princeton City Council was updated on some exciting economic developments and planning and zoning amendments during Monday night’s meeting.
According to Planning Commission Administrator Jenny Clark, they had three map amendments to discuss and review during a special called meeting last week, one of which included a new business.
click to download audioShe also mentioned that their focus this year is on promoting tourism and showcasing the City of Princeton. She added that the City is being featured in the Kentucky monthly email blast and more.

click to download audioFurthermore, she mentioned that construction is progressing for the new Community Medical facility, and the rebuilding efforts are ongoing at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center.
click to download audioAdditionally, Clark mentioned that Princeton Tourism has received an invitation to help promote the 100th anniversary of the UKRECs next year.
Clark reported that the Athletic Center began an expansion two weeks ago, and a new business will be opening on the lot next to The Pantry on South Jefferson Street.
