Be A.W.A.R.E Seminar

Be A.W.A.R.E is  March 19^th at the Murray Regional Campus in Paducah and will be a full day conference that is also completely free and open to  parents, caregivers and those serving children and families as well as any agency/program/business that would like to come set up a free resource booth. “Be A.W.A.R.E- What are your kids into?”  is a full day dedicated to understanding such topics as Human Trafficking and how it looks different that in year past to include such things as how social medica, artificial intelligence and more is changing Human Trafficking. We will also focus on the social media, how to keep safe online, apps parents/caregivers need to be aware of, steps to protect children from sexual abuse , online exploitation, sextortion and more. Then we will end out day with dedication to understanding the dangers as well as the growing presences of fentanyl and how real death can result from unintentional exposure to fentanyl and/or fentanyl misuse.
