Princeton Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking

A Princeton woman was arrested on drug trafficking and possession charges during a visit from Probation and Parole at her home Tuesday.

Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports that shortly before noon officers assisted Probation and Parole with a home visit to 54-year old Theresa Japczyk at a residence near the 200 block of Ratliff Street. During the visit, police searched her bedroom and reportedly found several illicit substances, including marijuana packaged in multiple baggies and stored in various containers.

Japczyk was arrested and charged with her second offense for possession of meth along with another charge of possessing a controlled substance, prescription not in proper container, and trafficking marijuana. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
