DNOW Weekend Deemed a Success

The DNOW experience that was held the weekend of March 1st through 3rd in Princeton has been deemed a success.

DNOW also known as Disciple Now gives the youth of the community a time to come together and spend time learning about God, the Bible and enjoy a time of fellowship.

Locally the weekend was put together by a group of youth pastors from various churches. The weekend began at Northside Baptist Church with a time of worship and sermons geared toward youth. At night each church involved provided homes for their youth to gather and spend the night including teaching and sharing. Saturday morning they gathered again at Northside for another worship service. Saturday at noon all were provided a lunch a Southside Baptist Church and then Saturday afternoon they divided into their groups and took to the City of Princeton for a scavenger hunt. Several items were listed for the youth to seek out which required making a picture to document they achieved the goal. Many people saw teenagers out accomplishing their task which included praying with someone and serving others when they saw a chance. Saturday night they returned to Northside for their final time of group worship.

Josh Drake was one of the leaders of the event and shared they had a great weekend.
