Wanda Lee Phelps Beck, March 9, 2024, at Caldwell Medical Center. Born on March 25, 1936, in Caldwell County, KY, Wanda lived a full life marked by love, service, and the simple joys of family and faith. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Wilson Beck, her father Edward Phelps, her mother Henreitta “Jo” Josephine Prowell Phelps.
She is survived by her son, Greg Robert Beck and his wife Gina of Fredonia, KY. Wanda’s role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, showering love and wisdom upon her granddaughter Tara Samantha Beck, and her granddaughter Whitney Shea Whitaker, along with her husband Phillip. Wanda was blessed to see her family grow and welcomed her seven great-grandchildren, Breanna NaShea Rustin, Troyce Beck, Eli Beck, Gia Whitaker, Everly Whitaker, Becksly Whitaker, and Phillip Dax Whitaker. Wanda’s love extended beyond her immediate family to include several nieces and nephews, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. David Fambrough and Rev. Presley Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowland cemetery.
