Glenn Lane, 93, of Princeton

Glenn Howard Lane, age 93, of Princeton, passed away March 21, 2024, at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born on January 29, 1931, in Caldwell County, Kentucky, to his late parents, Raymond and Mary Jane Johnson Lane. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Glenn served his country with honor before transitioning to a dedicated career at SKW Alloys, now known as CC Metals and Alloys, in Calvert City. Glenn was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a proud member of Clinton Masonic Lodge 82. Glenn will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, whether spending time at the ballparks with his grandchildren, enjoying bird hunting, or raising tobacco.

His legacy is carried on through his cherished wife, Charlotte York Lane; their loving children, Natalie (Tommy) Wyatt and Wendall (Nancy Jo) Lane, all of Princeton; one brother, Dennis Lane of Springfield, TN; four grandchildren, Craig (Kirsten) Wyatt, Seth (Michelle) Wyatt, Chad (Kay) Lane, and Wendy McKinney; eight great-grandchildren, David Gray, Katie Sivells, Shelby Lane, Isaac Lane, Presley McKinney, Cole Wyatt, Case Wyatt, Lane Wyatt; and seven great-great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Meda Browning; his three brother, Allen Lane, Andrew Lane, Charles Ray Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
