Charlene Campbell Vinson, age 90, of Princeton, passed away at Caldwell Medical Center Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Princeton and formerly a production associate with Arvin Manufacturing. Charlene enjoyed reading, babysitting for family and helping other people. She was proud of receiving her GED in 1997 at the age of 64.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Hyatt, Eddyville, KY and Caroletta May, Mayfield, KY; one son, Tommy (Donna) Vinson, Princeton, KY, two brothers, Phillip Campbell, Princeton, KY and Wilburn “Tinker” Campbell, Jackson, MI; five grandchildren, Kristy (Adam) Ortt, Craig (Lori) Conger, Jessica Ashley (Trent) Rustin, Wesley (Amanda) Vinson, Chase Vinson; thirteen great grandchildren, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Case, Hunter, Kayleigh, Kaylyn, Dax, Ella, Zack, Carson, Bo, Nathan, Garrett; two great-great grandchildren, Kyson and Liam, and several nieces and nephews.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Novella Nichols Campbell, one sister, Christine Hudson, one brother, Harold Campbell and one grandson, Michael Shane Hyatt.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Bro., Bobby Noel and Bro. John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell County.
