The Tasters Luncheon hosted by The Friends of the George Coon Public Library will take place this Friday to raise funds to help support the local library’s various needs.
Kathy Svoboda and Cheryl Mintz from the organization announced that the event will be held in Baker Hall at Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Svoboda highlighted that the funds raised by the Friends of the Library are utilized to supply items at the library, including the movie screen and other essentials.
click to download audioShe noted that the library renovation is nearing completion and they are preparing for a grand opening soon. She also mentioned that they recently reached out to the public for assistance fulfilling the library’s wish list.
