Harold’s life was one of tireless industry. As a self-employed construction worker and commercial fisherman, he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to turn any task into a labor of love. His colleagues and friends from the workforce and fishing community remember him as a man who could always be relied upon, a true testament to his character.

His interests were a mirror of the simple, beautiful life he led. Harold cherished spending time with his family above all else. Whether it was fishing, hunting, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee, he found joy in life’s uncomplicated pleasures. He had a passion for driving around the lake, making sure the water was “fit to fish,” and could often be found tending to his garden or casting a line, at peace with the world.

Those who knew Harold will remember him as the epitome of gentleness-a man whose serene demeanor and kind heart left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a way of making the world around him a better place, just by being in it. His gentle spirit, unwavering integrity, and the love he so freely gave will be forever missed.

As the sun sets on his final day, we imagine him in his favorite spot by the lake, rod in hand, with a smile on his face, content in the knowledge that he left the world a better place.
