A Tennessee teen is facing DUI and other charges after a wreck in Lyon County in a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Paducah over the weekend.
Sheriff White also reports a 17-year old male juvenile from Ashland City, Tennessee involved in a single-vehicle wreck on KY 293 near the intersection of KY 818 North on Saturday was charged with DUI, operating on a revoked or suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, and receiving stolen property.
According to Sheriff White, the teen was driving a stolen vehicle with a suspended Tennessee driver’s license while intoxicated by alcoholic beverages before fleeing the scene of the collision. The juvenile was reportedly located by law enforcement at the Marathon station on KY 293.
Sheriff’s deputies were assisted with the investigation by the Eddyville and Paducah police departments and the Kentucky State Police.
