Lynda Askew Harper, age 86, of Prospect, KY, passed away April 15, 2024, at the Springs at Oldham Reserve.
Lynda was born January 27, 1938 to Arwood Vincent Askew and Kathleen Carr Askew. Married to the late James Albert Harper for 65 years. She was a devoted housewife and long-time member of Reidland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Ryssa (Randy) McGehee of Prospect, KY: Two Grandchildren, Dustin (Elizabeth) McGehee and Amber (Kent) Billingsley; Seven Great-grandchildren, Tucker, Carter and Ashton McGehee, Mason, Colby, Drake and Harper Billingsley all of Prospect, KY.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Askew; sisters, Mary Baker-Garrison and Ann Major.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at Asher Cemetery in Caldwell County. A funeral procession will accumulate at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, KY at 10:15 am.
There will be no public visitation held.
