One person was injured when a semi overturned in Fredonia Monday afternoon, causing the road to be blocked for several hours.
Fredonia Fire Chief Tim Conway tells WPKY’s News Edge that the wreck occurred shortly before 2;30 pm.
He says the semi hauling the fertilizer was from Agri-Chem in Hopkinsville. The name of the driver who was transported to the hospital has not been released at this time.
According to Chief Conway, six firefighters from the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department and six firefighters from the Princeton Fire Department responded to the scene.
The road reopened to traffic after 6:30 Monday evening.
