Motorists who travel KY 3305 in Lyon County need to be aware that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of the road on Thursday and Friday to replace a cross drain.
Officials indicate KY 3305 will be closed between Elkhorn Tavern Road and Jacks Way, about halfway between KY 93 and the I-24 tunnel.
According to officials, KY 3305 connects KY 93 South and the traffic signal at the U.S. 62/U.S. 641 intersection east of Eddyville.
The road at this site is expected to close promptly at 7:00 Thursday morning and is expected to reopen to traffic around noon on Friday.
There will be no marked detour.
