As summer break approaches, many children may face needs during the long break from school. The Kings Kitchen has stepped up again to offer kid-friendly meals to help support families in need during the summer months.
On Thursday, May 30th, WPKY’s Tess will be broadcasting live from Food Giant in Princeton, where donations of food and money will be collected to support the King’s Kitchen Pantry. The community is encouraged to stop by the store between 10 am and noon to make a donation and show their support for children in need.
If you are unable to make it to Food Giant on May 30th, donations can also be dropped off at the WPKY studios throughout the day on the 30th or any time before then. Every little bit helps, and even a small donation can make a big difference in the lives of those struggling with food insecurity.
The Kings Kitchen and WPKY are proud to be able to give back to the community and support those in need during the summer months. By coming together and supporting each other, we can ensure that no child in Caldwell County goes hungry this summer.
We also want to thank our community partners Fredonia Valley Bank and Food Giant of Princeton!
