Caldwell County Grand Jury Returns May Indictments for for Rape, Burglary

The May session of the Caldwell County grand jury returned felony indictments for rape, burglary, and failing to comply with the sex offender registry.

33-year-old Marion Brown of Wayne City, Illinois saw indictments returned for second-degree rape and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. Princeton Police investigated the case with the report saying the rape count is with a victim between 14 and 18 years old with the other charge involving a victim under 16.

A police chase involving the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office on March 13 resulted in indictments returned against 34-year-old John Lutz of Fredonia. He is charged in circuit court with first-degree wanton endangerment, being a persistent felony offender, reckless driving, and first-degree fleeing police.

42-year-old William Taylor of Mechanic Street was indicted for failure to comply with the sex offender registry. The Kentucky State Police investigation said beginning in June of 2019, Taylor provided false and misleading information and failed to properly register his address with the local probation and parole office.

38-year-old Kinsley Bell was indicted for second-degree burglary which came from a March 24 incident investigated by the Princeton Police Department.

30-year-old Gregory Munsel of Princeton was indicted on a second-degree burglary charge stemming from a February 23 investigation by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.

40-year-old Irene Kilburn of Princeton was indicted on charges of first-degree criminal trespassing and violation of an EPO/DVO stemming from a January 29 incident investigated by the Princeton Police Department.

A misdemeanor charge against Kilburn was remanded to Caldwell District Court for action.

Nine felony cases were continued to be heard at the next grand jury session.
