A Kuttawa motorcyclist was killed in a wreck in McCracken County Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2:40, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle collision at the intersection of Kentucky Dam Road and Eagles Nest Drive around 2:40
According to the investigation, 63-year old Gordon Smith of Kuttawa was operating a motorcycle eastbound on Kentucky Dam Road when he collided with an SUV driven by 70-year old Benny Green of Paducah, who was crossing over Kentucky Dam Road from Eagles Nest Drive.
Deputies reported that Smith was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Green was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
