Caldwell County residents affected by Sunday’s storms stopped by the Princeton Tourism Center Wednesday night for an informational meeting with the Caldwell County Long-Term Recovery Group and other organizations to seek potential financial assistance for damages.
Long-Term Recovery Group Co-Chair Katie Parker stated that the purpose of the meeting was to collect information from individuals who experienced storm damage and add them to a list for assistance.

Parker emphasized that documenting the damage is essential to secure funding.

While individuals can seek help from other organizations like Catholic Charities and the United Way to help gauge the extent of the need, Parker stressed the importance of the Long-Term Recovery Group compiling a comprehensive list of everyone impacted.

Alongside the Long-Term Recovery Group, Catholic Charities and other organizations attended the meeting to gather information to offer their assistance.
