Two people were taken to hospitals after a two-vehicle wreck on US 62 West in front of Walmart Monday morning.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says the investigation revealed 81-year old Fletcher Fitzgerald of Princeton was attempting to make a left turn onto US 62 from Walmart when his vehicle struck a westbound car driven by 47-year old Tabitha Winton of White Plains. Both vehicles came to rest in the eastbound lane of US 62.

According to Chief King, Fitzgerald was transported by Caldwell EMS to Caldwell Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Winton was transported by Caldwell EMS to Baptist Health Madisonville with non-life-threatening injuries.
