Caldwell County Jail’s Community Garden to Soon Provide Free Vegetables

The Caldwell County Jail’s garden will soon yield vegetables that will be available for the community.

Jail Administrator Angela Cotton stated that the garden is mostly planted.

Cotton noted that the vegetables are free for the community, and individuals have the option to pick their own.

She expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the community garden possible.

click to download audioCotton also expressed their appreciation to Highland Baptist Church for generously donating five acres of land to the Caldwell County Jail for the garden to help feed both the inmates and the community.
