After four nights of fundraising, the Princeton Optimist-Kiwanis clubs need the community’s help to raise funds to support the youth of Caldwell and Lyon counties. Tonight two framed autographed posters of Mr. Kentucky Basketball and UK recruit Travis Perry will be on the auction block.
At the conclusion of Thursday night’s auction, Optimist Club President Jean Ann Albertson announced they had sold nearly 200 items, raising just north of $7,100.

click to download audioA $25 donation qualifies as a Good Old Goat, a $50 donation as a Silver Goat, and donations ranging from $100 to $499 as a Golden Goat. These contributions support scholarships for graduating students who plan to attend a four-year college.
A Platinum Partner is a donation of $500 or more, which goes into the general operations account. Additionally, donations of any amount can be made to the Wes York Scholarship, supporting students attending a two-year vocational school.
According to Kilgore, items that have been sold can be picked up and paid for starting Friday night.
