Princeton Man Charged with Resisting Arrest and Meth Possession

A Princeton man was charged with resisting arrest, possession of meth and other offenses after a traffic stop on North Hawthorne Street over the weekend.

Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison said the 39-year old Jason Flynn was pulled over by officers shortly after 6:00 Saturday night for expired registration plates and a violation of a protective order because he was within 500 feet of the petitioner’s home.

According to police, Flynn resisted arrested and was also found in possession of meth.

While being processed at the Caldwell County Jail, police said Flynn was also found to have a plastic baggie of Clonazepam pills hidden in his clothes.

Flynn was charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, resisting arrest, possession of meth, promoting contraband, and prescription of a controlled substance not in a proper container.
