The Caldwell County Animal Shelter is hosting a Father’s Day adoption event this Saturday.
Director and Animal Control Officer at the shelter, Kevin Lane announced that the event will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM with Chevy’s Summer Sips, Crafty Crick Creations, and Cale’s Sweet Treats at the park.
click to download audioIn addition, a silent auction for a donated box planter will be held during the event.
click to download audioLane mentioned that Ward will contribute a portion of the sales from the box planter orders he receives to the animal shelter.
Furthermore, Lane announced that they are now accepting pre-orders for t-shirts to raise funds for the animal shelter.
click to download audioMiranda Johntry with the animal shelter reiterated the deadline to pre-order t-shirts is June 29th to ensure they will be ready by July 4th.
Lane shared details on the pricing of the t-shirts.

According to Lane, Wilma will also be available at the Father’s Day adoption event. He explained that she has been fully sponsored in memory of Mike Cherry, making her free for adoption.
click to download audioAt Saturday’s event, he says they will have four dogs available at a discounted rate of $50 each, while the other dogs up for adoption at the event will be priced at $100.
Again, the Caldwell County Animal Shelter’s Father’s Day Adoption Event will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM this Saturday at Big Springs Park. The park is located at 111 East Washington Street, between East Washington Street and East Main Street in downtown Princeton.
