Jacob Walker/Crittenden County Detention Center mugshot
A Marion man has been indicted by the Lyon County Grand Jury on drug possession and other offenses following an April traffic stop on US 641 North.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s office served an indictment warrant on 33-year old Jacob Walker last week charging him with complicity to third-degree criminal trespassing, complicity of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender.
The charges stem from a traffic stop made by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office on US 641 on April 19 in which Walker and his female passenger and co-defendant in the case, 35-year old Mika Kitrel of Metropolis, Illinois, were reportedly found in a truck stolen from the Marion-Crittenden County Airport. After an investigation, Lyon County Sheriff Brent White said the pair were linked to six more burglaries of various buildings in Crittenden County where over $50,000 worth of property was stolen.
Walker remains lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center on a $7,500 cash bond.
