The Caldwell County Grand Jury returned several felony indictments during the June 4th session, including charges of drug trafficking.
Terrance Hall, of Princeton, was indicted on charges of trafficking meth and marijuana with both charges firearm enhanced, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The grand jury returned a no true bill and dismissed a charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Hall was arrested on April 3 at a home in the 300 block of North Donnavan Street when law enforcement were searching for a man wanted in connection to a shooting at a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee on Easter Sunday. During a search of the home, Princeton Police said they found a large amount of cash, a large amount of marijuana and meth, along with guns and drug paraphernalia.
Theresa Flora Japczyk of Princeton, was indicted on charges of trafficking marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in original container, and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
Japczyk was arrested by Princeton Police on February 27 when they assisted Probation and Parole during a home visit at a residence near the 200 block of Ratliff Street. During a search of her bedroom, police said they found several illicit substances, including marijuana packaged in multiple baggies and stored in various containers.
The grand jury returned a no true bill on Jacob Lynn Brown and dismissed a third-degree assault charge and returned a misdemeanor indictment on charges of operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license and resisting arrest from an incident that occurred on April 19. The case was remanded to Caldwell District Court for further proceedings and disposition.
And a no true bill was also returned on Tuesday Dawn Robertson. She was initally charged with theft of property mislaid or delivered by mistake under $10,000 but the grand jury dismissed the case.
