Roosevelt Smalls, aged 88, of Princeton, passed away on June 20, 2024, at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born on December 29, 1935, in Lodge, South Carolina, to his late parents Millard and Ethel Smalls, he was a man known for his kind heart, amiable spirit, and handy skills.
His greatest passion was meticulously running his car detailing business. He also enjoyed fishing and was a fellow choir member occasionally traveling with the choir to uplift many with their music. Roosevelt was a member of Shepherd Street Baptist Church.
Roosevelt is survived by his sister, Mary Smalls and brother, Thomas Smalls, both of New York; as well as a host of beloved step-children, nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Smalls; his sister Martha Smalls.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
