George Coon Public Library Announces Exciting Upcoming Programs for All Ages

The George Coon Public Library is excited to announce a variety of upcoming programs for both kids and adults to enjoy.

Director Nichelle Faughn and Programming Coordinator Rebecca Pool from the local library announced that the next Summer Reader Program will include Worker Wheels and Snow Cones. The event is scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the library parking lot.

click to download audioThe local fire department and police department will also be participating in the Worker Wheels program. If you’re unsure what time you were assigned at registrations for the Summer Reading Program, you are asked to call the library.

They mentioned that space is still available for Craft Time, which is scheduled for Thursday evening at 6:00.

click to download audioThe library will supply all the materials needed for Thursday evening’s Craft Time, which will feature a summer-themed decoration.

click to download audioNext week, on July 2, the library will host another Kentucky Humanities program for the community titled “Revolutionary War in a Trunk.”
