Addie Belle Bratcher, age 87, of the Ilsley Community near Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Bratcher was born on May 26, 1937 in Hopkins, KY to the late William J. Fox and Verna McKnight Fox. She worked for several years at Ottenheimers Manufacturing and for nine years with Davis Bestway Grocery in Dawson Springs, KY. She was a member of the Ilsley Christian Church for 80 years.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Rayburn Bratcher, for seventy years; three daughters, Tammy Young, Lisa Merrell and Missy (Greg) Copeland; and one son, Michael (Jill) Bratcher; ten grandchildren, Tiffiany (Jason) Heggen, Grant (Noelle) Young, Brittany (Brandon) Laffoon, Sherida Merrell, Tyler (Felicia) Merrell, Timothy Merrell, Whitney (Conner) McEnaney, Courtney (Caleb) Hickerson, Heaven Bratcher and Skye Bratcher; fifteen great-grandchildren, Austin McCutchen, Kayda Heggen, Carter McCutchen, Rachel Young, Kylie Laffoon, Lindy Laffoon, Levi Stanley, Jace Stanley, Maverick Stanley, Addelyn Merrell, Kinsley Merrell, Colton Merrell, Landon Merrell, Claire McEnaney and Camden McEnaney.
Mrs. Bratcher is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Isaac Fox; and two sisters, Reba Benzick, Linda Hartline and a son-in-law, DeWayne Merrell..
Visitation for Addie Belle Bratcher will be Monday, June 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY and again on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Danny Earl officiating.
Active pallbearers include Tyler Merrell, Timothy Merrell, Brandon Laffoon, Conner McEnaney, Austin McCutchen and Levi Stanley. Honorary pallbearers include Grant Young, Greg Copeland, Caleb Hickerson, Doug Hartline, Robert Moore, and Jason Heggen.
