The Princeton Rotary Club inducted new officers and noted some of its achievements in 2023-2024 during its annual induction dinner meeting last week.

The dinner meeting was held at Adams Breezy Hill Farms Restaurant. According to the club officials, outgoing President J.D. Wilson gave the installation oath to President-Elect Steffani Burton, who gave the oath to Secretary Pam Brunelle, Treasurer Stacy Boone, and Vice-President Janie Tomek. The new president for 2024-25 is Geneva Malone, who will be installed later because she could not attend the banquet. Melissa Earnest will continue her role as a Club Director and Executive Secretary. Wilson will continue to serve on the board as the immediate past president.

The club also announced notable achievements during the evening. The club reported it grossed $19,990 from the recent golf tournament, which netted $17,130 to go towards the Build-A-Bed and other service projects in the local community. Additionally, the club met its goals for 2023-24 for Rotary International and will be awarded the Rotary Citation soon. Also, club members donated funds to The Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus programs and will be receiving the designation of a Star Club soon when the newly installed District 6710 Governor, Dale Leatherman, visits on July 9th.

The Princeton Rotary Club meets weekly at noon on Tuesdays at the Majestic House Steak Restaurant in Princeton. Visitors are welcome to attend the meetings.
