Charles Alan Holt, age 72, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.
Charles was born October 14, 1951, in Caldwell County, KY to the late Hobert and Mary Lois Sims Holt. Charles was a member of Midway Baptist Church, an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider, fisherman and enjoyed classic cars. He obtained an Associates Degree from the University of Kentucky. He was a retired Senior Captain at the Kentucky State Penitentiary.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sarita Green Holt; one daughter, Tosha Holt Barnett (David) of Texas; one step-daughter, Kelly Johns (Tim) of Sturgis, KY; three brothers, Ron Holt (Diane), Steve Holt (Calvin) of Texas and Paul Douglas Holt (Shelia) of Clarksville, TN; one grandchild, Luke Davidson (Carle); and one great-grandchild, Weston Davidson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his grandson, Jake Davidson.
Visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Bro. Duane Burden officiating. Burial will follow in Asher Cemetery in Caldwell County.
