Ricky “Mac” McNeeley, 68, of Princeton

Ricky “Mac” McNeeley, a man filled with kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, in his hometown of Princeton, KY. Born on February 13, 1956, in Princeton, Mac’s life was one of unwavering devotion to his family. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Mac is lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Jan Jackson McNeeley, who stood by his side in a partnership defined by love and mutual respect. His legacy of compassion and strength lives on through his son, Jeffery (Windi) McNeeley of Clarksville, TN; his beloved grandchildren, Lexi Walker and Kerri Walker; and his adored great-grandchildren, Sophia Bogle and Kamren Bogle. His mother, Beverly Ann Travis Bell of Lyon County, will hold dear the memory of her son’s warm heart; also survives, his sister, Teresa (Randy) Stallins of Princeton.

Mac was preceded in death by his father, Charles Clifton McNeeley, and his sister, Karen Barnett.

Mac was of the Baptist faith and his commitment to his faith was evident in his everyday actions. He found joy in golfing, grilling, being outdoors, and woodworking. His hands were rarely still, as he was always seeking ways to help anyone in need. Mac’s life was a testament to the enduring power of kindness, and his generous spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Noel and Chase Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Church Cemetery.
