Northside Baptist Church on Dawson Road held a free yard sale on Saturday inside of their recreational gym.
Church members spent all last week gathering and bringing items to the church to be given away to the community. The items were sorted and placed on tables and around the wall of the gym according to size and type of item. When the inventory was completed the gym was full of items to be given away to the community.
Cindy Long serves as the Director of Children’s Services at Northside and noted this was the second year for the church to have a free yard sale.
Long shared that people started lining up at 8:30 am with the doors scheduled to open at 10:00 am.
