The Caldwell County Grand Jury returned four felony indictments from its August session.
A true bill was returned on Jason Craig Flynn of Princeton on charges of violation of EPO/DVO, expired registration plate, resisting arrest, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree promoting contraband, and controlled substance prescription not in a proper container.
The charges stem from June 8 when Princeton Police reported Flynn was pulled over on North Hawthorne Street for expired registration plates and a violation of a protective order because he was within 500 feet of the petitioner’s home. During the stop, officers reportedly found Flynn in possession of meth.
When Flynn was being processed at the Caldwell County Jail, police said he was also found to have a plastic baggie of Clonazepam pills hidden in his clothes.
The grand jury indicted Eddie Wright of Princeton on charges of failure to wear a seat belt, failure to provide an insurance card, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DUI. The charges stem from an arrest on April 6 by Kentucky State Police Post 2 with no information released.
Jeremy Newman of Princeton was indicted on a single count of third-degree burglary. The indictment alleges he unlawfully entered a building to commit a crime on January 5.
A true bill was returned on Celeste Stone of Princeton on a charge of theft by deception under $10,000 from an incident on March 7.
