Lisa Strack, 62, of Eddyville

Lisa Gaye Strack of Eddyville Kentucky, born on August 22, 1962, in Caldwell County, departed this world on her birthday, August 22, 2024, at age 62 at Baptist Health Paducah. A loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and adoring grandmother. She was of the Christian faith. Lisa was known for her kind and welcoming spirit that touched the lives of everyone she met.

She spent her life surrounded by family, who will hold her memory close to their hearts. Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Strack of Eddyville, her son Cole Strack, also of Eddyville, and her daughters, RaeAnn Brummett (Michelle Brennan) of Owensboro and Brittany Harris of Eddyville. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren: Braden Guess, Addisen Brummett, Brilee Harris, Dreyson Cavanaugh, and Alisianna Cavanaugh, as well as her great-grandchild, Abel Guess, who brought light and laughter into her life.

Lisa was raised by her parents, Luther and Esther Byarly, who preceded her in death, along with her brothers Jerry Byarly, Terry Byarly, and Wayne Byarly, and sisters Kay Patton, Kathy Henderson, and Joyce Noel. Their love and memories will continue to resonate with those she leaves behind.

A woman of simple pleasures, Lisa had many interests that brought her joy. She cherished the company of her dogs and found delight in playing lottery tickets. While she was an avid viewer of “On Patrol Live,” she enjoyed being with her grandchildren the most.

Her kindness and nurturing nature made her a pillar in her family’s life and an irreplaceable friend to many. Though the world has lost a genuine soul, the warmth of Lisa’s spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire and comfort those who knew her.

As we remember Lisa, let us celebrate her life, her love, and the impact she had on everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
