Princeton Celebrates Grand Opening Of Community Medical Clinic Facility (w/PHOTOS)

Local leaders and community members gathered Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the grand opening of the newly constructed Community Medical Clinic in Princeton, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

With standing room only in the new facility, CEO Kecia Fulcher welcomed everyone to the ceremony and invited Brother Israel Brooks, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, to deliver the opening prayer.

Fulcher informed the crowd that when the Community Medical Clinic opened in Princeton 10 years ago, Brock Thomas was the judge-executive, and Kota Young was the mayor. Today, Thomas serves as the mayor, and Young serves as the judge-executive.

Mayor Thomas reminisced about being approached by Fulcher a decade ago and expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the new facility a reality.

Furthermore, Fulcher shared that the concept for this corporation originated at the Pennyroyal Center in Hopkinsville, where she previously worked.

After Fulcher, a Muhlenberg County resident, shared her family ties to Caldwell County, attendees moved outside for the ribbon-cutting. Following the ceremony, everyone was invited inside the new facility for a tour and light refreshments.

In an interview with WPKY’s News Edge, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator Chloe King said that things have been going well since the new facility opened last week.

Community Medical Clinic also has locations in Hopkinsville and Oak Grove.
