Kenneth Menser, 92, of Dawson Springs

Kenneth Wayne Menser, age 92, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Mr. Menser was born on April 21, 1932, in Caldwell County, KY to the late John Elmer Menser and Lucy Esther Capps Menser. Kenneth was a graduate of Fredonia High School in Fredonia, KY and retired from the Dawson Springs Sewer and Water Department where he served as superintendent. He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and a member of the Al. E. Orton Lodge #628 in Dawson Springs.

He is survived by three daughters ~ Rosetta Marie (James) Ramsey of Frankfort, KY, Susan Lanette Menser of Dawson Springs, KY and Freda Davis (Gary) Thomas of Princeton, KY; five grandchildren ~ Rebecca Thompson, Jennifer Abney, Daniel Davis, Dr. Stephen Davis and Taylor Copple; three great-grandchildren ~ William Parker Abney, David James Abney and Riverlynn Copple.

Mr. Menser is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 68 years ~ Dorothy Elizabeth Blalock Menser (departed June 8, 2020) and a granddaughter ~ Kelly Renee Ramsey.

Visitation for Kenneth Wayne Menser will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and again on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. funeral hour at First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Sam Haulk, Elder Jeff Winfrey and Rev. Mike Jicka officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.

Active Pallbearers will be Dr. Stephen Davis, Taylor Copple, Kyle Menser, Gary Thomas, Sean Menser and Kent Dillingham. Eddie Storms, James Ramsey, Robert Earl Pleasant, Wayne Hall and David Copeland will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
