The Black Patch Pageants were held Saturday inside the Butler Auditorium.
The Black Patch Pageants have been a part of the annual Black Patch Festival for several years but this year the pageants were sponsored by a new group. The Caldwell County Middle School Jr. Beta Club has taken over the contest and is excited to be a part of the annual community event. Jessica Graham volunteered to help with the pageants and said they had a great turnout of contestants.
Graham shared that all the proceeds from the pageants will go to the Jr. Beta Club to help with their activities over the upcoming year.

click to download audioAll contestants are invited to participate in the Black Patch Parade this Friday, September 6th at 5:00 pm. They are asked to arrive at the Butler parking lot by 4:30 to be lined up in the Parade. Individuals are asked to identify themselves on their vehicles in the parade.
