A teenager is facing multiple charges after he allegedly threatened students with a knife on a Caldwell County school bus.

Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers received a complaint at the police department shortly before 4:30 Wednesday afternoon involving a knife that occurred on a school bus during the afternoon route.

According to Allison, an investigation revealed that a 16-year old boy had brandished a knife on the bus. Witnesses and victims reportedly told officers that the teen started threatening students on the bus and acting like he was going to stab them. He indicates that two juveniles had minor cuts from the knife that were caused by reacting to the threats.

The 16-year old was detained and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, unlawful possession of a weapon on school property, two counts of fourth-degree assault, and two counts of second-degree wanton endangerment.  The teen was lodged in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
