The Caldwell County Fiscal Court received updates regarding the county’s generators and ambulance service during Tuesday morning’s meeting.
Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin provided magistrates with an update on the installation of a generator at the firehouse, as well as information on other generators.
Meanwhile, Jailer Willie Harper informed the magistrates that insurance would cover the cost of replacing the generator at the Caldwell County Jail.
He mentioned that the generator was likely damaged by a lightning strike.
click to download audioMagistrates also received an update from AmeriPro EMS Operations Supervisor Dana Woolsey, who reported that they received their third ambulance on Friday and that the average number of runs per day is on track for this month.
District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms recognized AmeriPro’s efforts during the Black Patch Parade and Festival over the weekend.
