Miranda Meeks, an art teacher at Caldwell County High School, recently delivered a presentation titled “The Heart of Your Art” at a professional development session.
The event was organized by Owensboro Public Schools and Daviess County Public Schools for Visual and Performing Arts educators.
According to Public Relations Coordinator Lizzie Wynn, Meeks presented the Visual Art sessions: “Providing Meaningful and Constructive Feedback in the Art Room”, Encouraging and Developing Creativity Within Our Students”, and “Working smARTer, Not Harder”.
Meeks was joined by keynote speaker, Dewight Emmert, the director of Fine Arts at the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, along with the featured presenter, Jessica Greene, the Kentucky Department of Education Visual and Performing Arts Program Coordinator.
